After a full trial run of typsetting, bibliography, indexing, final dvi, and to pdf; evoking MS Quickshelf 2000 to look up a word resulting in a v6 beta fault.
Since v6 was going to close on this fault, I ran debugging to the first level with the MS Visual C++ environment yielding

Can you describe more of what was happening between PCTeX and MS Quickshelf. That's odd that PCTeX would fault with no interaction.
