lucidacal option seems to cause problems with Y&Y tex
Hi there I tried using the "lucidacal" option of mtpro2 with Y&Y tex. The problem is: (c:/localtexmf/tex/latex/mtpro2/omslbm.fd) ! Font OMS/lbm/m/n/10.95=hlcry at 9.85492pt not loadable: Metric (TFM) file not found (TEXNANSI=C:\YANDY\FONTS\TFM\TEXNANSI\TFM;C:\YANDY\FONTS\TFM\NONTEXT\;C...

Re: small caps
But will this package now break Y&Y? There are issues of font naming and font encoding involved, which of course are handled differently by Y&Y vs. You asked for a solution to use the Adobe Times SC fonts with Miktex/tetex. The ptms package won't run under Y&Y. Michael Without small cap...

small caps
Hello I noticed some inconsistencies between Y&Y and MikTeX on WinXP when using the small caps font with \textsc{}. With Y&Y I get the correct Times SC font in the oouput but with MikTeX it seems like some fake small caps fonts are used. I'm not sure if this is related to mtpro2 or not. Some...

Re: absolute values
Hi everybody, it seems I ahven't used much absolute values lately since only yesterday I found that things like $|x|$ or $|o|$ look offbalance to me. The space to the right of the latter looks larger than the space to the left of the letter. ralf |i| and |\pi|, for example, seem to have too much sp...

some good news and a question
I don't have a bug report but I thought I share some good news with the mtpro2 developers. I used the latest mtpro2 beta for several documents without any problems. With LY1 encoding i can use either MiKTeX/Yap or Y&Y/Dviwindo for the same document. One of the documents uses several of the speci...

Re: subscriptcorrection
a_\text{b} works when I use Y&Y MathTime (mathtimy) I suppose it works only because you forgot to enable subscript correction with mathtimy (if it supports subscript correction at all). (If I'm wrong, I'd kindly ask you to send me the package code of mathtimy.) When I use (on a non-Y&Y-TeX-...

Re: subscriptcorrection
No, and this shouldn't have anything to do with using the subscriptcorrection option. Whether or not it is used, _ will apply to the next token or group, and $a_\text$ should give an error That is not what I have experienced in the past. I have a number of documents where A_\text{B} was used in equ...

Re: Y&Y and MiKTeX installation of MTPro
The difference to your result may be due to a different version of bm.sty, but this does not matter, since you code cannot work with MTPro, anyway. This holds both for the current release and for MTPro II. Rationale: \mathsf points to a text font, so your code assumes that the Greek letters are tak...

Y&Y and MiKTeX installation of MTPro
I just downloaded mtpro2 and tested it with MiKTeX and YandY TeX. Below is a description of my installation procedure and some comments. I use WindoXP Pro SP2, Y&Y TeX 2.2.4, DVIWindo 2.2.8, MikTeX 2.4.1461 <localtexmf> for MiKTeX is E:\localtexmf on my system. I also keep all additional and mod...
