script Q

Now it seems to me that the base and alternative images of
script Q should be interchanged.
But this desire is probably due to the fact that I routinely use
Adobe script font (MathematicalPi Two).

0.994 test plans

This week, I plan to test 0.994 on a journal issue, again,
and, probably, on an AMS translations series book
on matrices with heavy math.
Surely, I will report on results.

v. 0.991

I've tested one issue (randomly chosen out of six ones
which were used to test 0.98) with version 0.991,
as proposed, with "boldalphabet" option.
Haven't seen problems.

As for now, I can use mtpro2 with no need to keep in mind that it is a beta.

Re: report successful compilation of a volume of a journal

Next week, I intend to carry out a test re-compilation of a volume of russian-language mathematical journal. Done. Ok. The specific code as compared with the above English-journal test is as follows: In style file \PassOptionsToPackage{british,russian}{babel} \Pa...

the code is from .sty file

This is the code from style file;
it shows the evolution.
As you see, the old lines are commented out.

report successful compilation of a volume of a journal

I've just finished re-compiling a volume of mathematical journal. The test is successful. \begin{cases} ... \end{cases} are replaced by \ccases{...} for the sake of beauty :) The changes in the style file are as follows: % \NeedsTeXFormat{LaTeX2e} % \PassOptionsToPackage{r...

The new file solves the issue.
Thanks.

Let's get on with the testing :)

first tests: \sim super/subscript looks strange

Just after short testing: A couple of papers where mathtime pro was used before compiled Ok, looks Ok too. \notin good; zswash works, looks good. \sim symbol looks strange in super- or subscript as 10pt base size is used (as a white small \sim symbol inside a black "background" wave-like f...

This depends on the Postscript interpreter you use.

Adobe's interpreter installed in my HP LJ 4MP draws
the symbol correctly, while ghostscript software
fills the \notin exactly as shown in your posting.

another lowercase "z" in math

Dear Michael,

Is it possible to make lowercase mathematical italic "z"
look as in Adobe Times PS font in my printer, with a swash?

Hello Michael, I would like to see \& as a big math operator with limits, of variable size for text- and display modes. Should it look just like a Time &? Although \& would be a convenient name for the user, it would be simpler to implement things if it had another name, like \ampersand...
