Is there a certain reason why no afm files are in the MTPro2 distribution?

Is there some reason you would want them?

The kerning of the fonts (and there is lots!) was done after the fonts were constructed and it would take an enormous amount of work to record that in the afm files from the pl files (I don't know of any program that does that automatically).

We could make afm files without that information, but I didn't bother (more precisely, I didn't bother keeping the afm files that Fontographer made along with the pfb files).

If you need them, let me know, and I will recreate a set.
