good idea; I will add that

I don't know by heart what 2A3C is; please be patient :-)

No -- unfortunately. I am already aware of this deficiency,
but the particular syntax of the "inflatable" braces cannot be
disguised as a LaTeX environment; at least, not with reasonable
effort. I have discussed the problem already with Mike Spivak.

I'd like to put a sample using TimesNR with MTPro on my "mathfonts" web page,
but I'm not sure whether I do have a legal license of TNR ;-)

\longimage and \longoriginal
Should I add them to mtpro2.tex ?

Zedler: These are the tex names the Lucida fonts use. If you look at http://www.hft.ei.tum.de/mz/MnSymbol.pdf they are called \largeemptyfilledspoon, \largefilledemptyspoon. They are used to denote the Fourier/Laplace transformation. Additional glyphs are not obligarory, this can be done on macro level.
The interior product I asked for is called minushookup in the above mentioned pdf, I need it to be of type \mathbin. This one may better be created as an additional glyph.

it seems as if a symbol for "interior product" is already available
under the name \contraction
