Unhandeld exception in pctexv6.exe

Post by Bruce.Filgate »

After a full trial run of typsetting, bibliography, indexing, final dvi, and to pdf; evoking MS Quickshelf 2000 to look up a word resulting in a v6 beta fault.

Since v6 was going to close on this fault, I ran debugging to the first level with the MS Visual C++ environment yielding

Can you describe more of what was happening between PCTeX and MS Quickshelf. What was PCTeX doing when the fault occurred?

There did not appear to be any interaction at the user level between Quickshelf and PCTeX. PCTeX was sitting there on the right hand display (of a two CRT system), and QuickShelf was initiated on the other display.

[PC is single 3.06 GHz XEON running Windows XP Pro, with 4GB of RAM]

That's odd that PCTeX would fault with no interaction. Let us know if this happens again, along with any other symptoms.
