|
|
I've just finished re-compiling a volume of mathematical journal.
The test is successful.
\begin{cases} ... \end{cases}
are replaced by \ccases{...} for the sake of beauty :)
The changes in the style file are as follows:
Code: |
%
\NeedsTeXFormat{LaTeX2e}
%
\PassOptionsToPackage{reqno,tbtags}{amsmath}
\PassOptionsToPackage{british}{babel}
%\PassOptionsToPackage{slantedgreek,heavybold,subscriptcorrection}{mathtime} % mathtime
%\PassOptionsToPackage{mathfrak,mathcal,mathbb}{mathpi} % mathtime + mathpi
%
%\PassOptionsToPackage{subscriptcorrection,mtpluscal}{mtpro} % mathtime pro
%\PassOptionsToPackage{mtphrd}{mtpams} % mathtime pro + mtpams
%\PassOptionsToPackage{mtpcal,mtpfrak}{mtpb} % mathtime pro + mtpb
%
\PassOptionsToPackage{full,subscriptcorrection,mtpcal,mtpfrak,mtphrd,zswash}{mtpro2} % mathtime pro II
%
%\RequirePackage{amsmath,amssymb,times,mathtime,mathpi,theorem,enumerate,upref,fancyhdr,babel} % mathtime
%\RequirePackage{amsmath,amssymb,times,mtpro,mtpams,mtpb,bm,theorem,enumerate,upref,fancyhdr,babel} % mathtime pro
\RequirePackage{amsmath,times,mtpro2,bm,theorem,enumerate,upref,fancyhdr,babel} % mathtime pro II
\ProvidesPackage{dma-2e}

Next week, I intend to carry out a test re-compilation of a volume of russian-language mathematical journal.
Used:
Code: |
Linux 2.2.18 #1 SMP Sat Dec 17 21:15:08 MSK 2005 i686 unknown
TeX (Web2C 7.3.1) 3.14159
kpathsea version 3.3.1
dvips(k) 5.86
xdvik version 22.84.10 (@(#)Motif Version 2.1.30, runtime version 2.1)
Libraries: kpathsea version 3.5.2, T1lib version 5.0.1

Good to hear this was successful.
Thanks, |

|
|
I'm puzzled by the posted code, in that it shows loading packages mathtime AND mtpro AND mtpro2.
Were those three separate runs of the same document, to try the three different packages? |

This is the code from style file;
it shows the evolution.
As you see, the old lines are commented out. |

Oops: I missed the beginning-of-line comment symbols because I also saw the end-of-line comments to the far right. |

Done. Ok.
The specific code as compared with the above English-journal test
is as follows:
In style file
Code: |
\PassOptionsToPackage{british,russian}{babel}
\PassOptionsToPackage{mathcal}{mathpi}
|
and in the source file
Code: | \usepackage[koi8-r]{inputenc}
|
Here, I preferred to preserve Adobe's Mathematical Script font because it is much closer to our traditions.
Of course, I removed `mtpcal' from the options passed to mtpro2.
P.S. This test is carried out with version 0.98. |

|
|
I've tested one issue (randomly chosen out of six ones
which were used to test 0.98) with version 0.991,
as proposed, with "boldalphabet" option.
Haven't seen problems.
As for now, I can use mtpro2 with no need to keep in mind that it is a beta. |

This week, I plan to test 0.994 on a journal issue, again,
and, probably, on an AMS translations series book
on matrices with heavy math.
Surely, I will report on results. |

|

Test with journal volume Ok.
Now it seems to me that the base and alternative images of
script Q should be interchanged.
But this desire is probably due to the fact that I routinely use
Adobe script font (MathematicalPi Two). |
