PostForum: MathTime Pro II New Symbols   Posted: Tue Aug 31, 2010 8:01 pm   Subject: Symbols for the logicians
There really are no "symbols" to add. Aside from the fact that the symbols are made up of straight lines, the symbols have to stretch, so the macros are the perfect (and only) way to get what one want ...

$\hat f_{*}$ the distance between f and * is quite different between MTpro2 and
mathptmx. It causes lots of work to revise our existing LaTeX files, which
work fine with mathptmx.

Basically, I want to reiterate the remark I made in the last post to the "firstimpressions" posting by stubner. If you start looking carefully

Hello,

what do you think about the following, is it worth to introduce kerning pairs with the comma?

Hello,

In expressions like
$-i\omega t$, $e^{i H_{0}t}$, $e^{-i H_{0}t}$
the distance behind the 'i' is a bit large IMO.

I'm sending you a new tfm file; see if it helps!

I suspect that this is a problem with MikTeX; the character in question has two points that are extremely close together, and possibly this creates some problems. I have emailed you a new version whe ...

Hi,

the new symbols \bulletdashcirc and \circdashbullet are too long, in addition the dash penetrates the inside of the circle.
I'd also advocate to scale down the circle and bullet slightly.
